Hi I am wonderng if there is a faster usb device for wifi that I can plug into a laptop to get faster connection than 6mb's? I am thinking by now there must be a faster device to connect to hub ?

Typically that's an ethernet cable ; )
If you really want 'better' WiFi then anything you plug in needs to be more recent hardware than that currently in use: what make and model of laptop is it?
Improving the signal reaching the laptop location may well be a better solution.

OK: a quick look indicates that's a pretty old model (Windows 8 era) with 802.11b/g/n WiFi built-in. This suggests that an 802.11ac USB WiFi dongle might be an improvement: perhaps something like the TP-Link ARCHER T2U PLUS AC600 Dual-Band Wireless High Gain USB Adapter.
Keep in mind that it's an old laptop though, and if it's still got a spinning hard drive in it will never feel speedy.
Hopefully it's not still running Windows 8?

Tanks for replying , not at all its pretty fast runs QGIS and other demanding programs with Windows 22H2 if you mean by old no its dosnt have TPM I think so no Windows 11 like half of the country who cant get new processors currently . Has 802.1n Wifi if that helps . woould a dongle help?
