have an old BT mark 3 connection box - how do I get it changed and moved and who do I contact?

Our broadband keeps dipping out in one room farthest from this connector. We have  sky Q and pay for superboost but having some building work done and want something smaller, is it possible and who do I contact?

@haymilo4  It't unlikel;y the master socket is the issue, it sounds more like a wifi issue.

• @haymilo4 If you want it moved for cosmetic reasons as well then call Sky and they will arrange with Openreach, usually chargeable at £65, but if it's faulty foc.
• The new box will not be much smaller but will be tidier.

Faceplate size is dictated by the standard dimensions of the back-box.  The more recent models are actually deeper front-to-back because they contain more electrical components and different internal connectors.

@haymilo4   You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:

(ROI) on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Apparently the quieter times to ring are just after 7am or about 9pm.

An NTE 5C with a MK4 VDSL faceplate will be the same height and width apart from the curved top edge (because size is largely defined by the dimensions of a standard back box) but will stick out rather more from the wall than that MK3
