ee to sky broadband

I currently have EE broadband paying £35 a month.

Sky is offering same speed (500 & 900 ) for £25 a month.

I have the EE 6 router, but EE are offering me the new router 7 for £40 a month.

Everything works ok, but wifi range is a small issue, maybe the 7 would have a better range?

Not that bothered about the price, but anyone know which broadband would be better? any help, much appreciated?

@stephenmallon the broadband is identical as both Sky and EE use Openeach in most cases. EE hubs are generally regarded as having better WiFi range than Sky's Max hub which often requires extenders to cover the whole house si budget for Sky's WiFi Max addon when comparing prices. Whether you need a WiFi7 hub is debatable but makes sense I suppose if you buy a service faster than 1Gb/s.

And when connecting the ee router to sky q, do i need to change any settings? Last time I remember I had to do something, as the router woudnt stay connected to sky q?

A word of caution. I ve also recently moved from EE to sky and l ve had all kind of problems with the SKY max 6 hub. Even with a replacement hub they sent me. I also have Sky q.  I'm thinking of moving away from Sky as within my 31 days cooling off. Annoyingly when I plugged my old EE router back in, everything works fine but EE obviously want their router back at some point. 

suggest you do a search of issues with Sky Q and the Sky max hubs. It's seem they don't like each other. So, do your research before switching and then you can make an informed decision.
