Can I ring sky and ask for an earlier activation date?
openreach came out early last week to set up the new wiring for our broadband & our new sky broadband box come today in the post but our activation date is set for a week & a half's time.
openreach have told me how to set it all up when the time does come but my wifi at the moment is very very slow hence the upgrade. Would this be possible? I don't want to phone and wait in an hour long queue for them to say no.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe activation date set is the first one available so Sky wont be able to bring it forward. There is always a 10 working day minimum lead time between order and activation and this can sometimes be longer if Sky's diary is full.

I was promised when I re-joined my Broadband would be activated on 28th Nov, then yesterday I was told by an advisor in Mumbai that I have to wait until 14 Dec ? however my bill is still charging me for it, customer service is appaling.
