For the last three days our alarm company has reported the WiFi going off for 2 hours between 03:46-05:47. Had it been a planned Sky maintenance 'downtime' I would have expected an email from them? How do I report this problem?

You won't get such notification from any domestic broadband provider.

If you have Q television at the address, the usual suspect is the Q 'Eco Mode' causing the television box WiFi hotspot function to drop.

I have the same problem. Very annoying. Sky please inform customers if you are planning maintenance work not to be caught in the middle of a work call!

Again, that's just not priced in to domestic broadband subscription rates.

Yes we have sky Q, but I cannot understand why after a year it is suddenly playing up out of the blue?

@sky2ash yes, as that as what happens sometimes with technology. It's not failsafe or fool proof. Just because it's working one day does not guarantee it will the next.

Ok, well sort of good news this morning lost connection only for one minute went of 05:16, and on 05:17 am, so I can live with that unless the gap increases again?! Fingers crossed.

No piece of technology, nor connection will give you 100%, uninterrupted uptime, 1 min of connection downtime means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, and is perfectly normal to happen on occasion.

Ok, so here we go today the disconnect is 2 minutes -05:16 -05:18, so it seems to be creeping backup, we will see!
