connecting Alexa device

I have recieved an upgraded router from Sky and i can not pair my TECKIN PLUGS for my Alexa to pick up

@Blaze1  If they do work then might have to try look into spliting the Wi-Fi frequencies to see if they can then be seen by the rotuer.

@Blaze1  Is this the new white router from Sky and you changed from the black router, which black router did you have before from the link below.

Hi no this was the same style black router aperantly the one i had is being switched off this year

@Blaze1  Did you have the Sky Q hub and been moved on to the Sky broadband hub?

Should give you a bit of background first of all im not too technically minded pension age, second this is a replacement router from the first upgrade , only lasted a few days and it was fitted by an engineer at my home

@Blaze1  Did you have a specific name for your Wi-Fi network on the last router or did you just leave it on the defaults? Does every other device see the Wi-Fi name and able to connect to the internet?

Left on default every other device picks up my router I'm going to try my teckin plugs at family home this weekend to confirm that they still work
