i was offered compensation for delayed work but have not received anything

It should show on your sky account as a credit 30 days after you are activated

I'd expect it to appear as a credit on your Sky account about 30 days after your activation. If that period has already elapsed call Sky to chase it up.

And note that when it does appear it can only be used against a future bill or bills as it can not be refunded to you.
