cannot open page because server stopped responding

Every single day I cannot get a response from my ipad or laptop. I test the signal. Nothing wrong according to Sky. I unplug it. No change. Sometimes it works. Other times I piggyback on my neighbours signal (with her agreement). What can I do?

@Madmags43  Can you go through the lights on your router from the link below picking out which one you have and follow the directions to see if it finds the fault.
