broadband

hello i have recently joined sky, and i was supposed to have my broadband fitted with an engier today, however i contacted sky to let them know my broadband box has not been delvered, then proceed to tell me that the engier is busy and wont be coming today hence why the box has not been delivered. however im not very happy due to the fact i booked a day off work today to make sure im in, i booked this 18 days ago, so why did no one contact me regarding the issue, just would be great with an update for when i can get the internet sorted.

Welcome to the forums @sydney09 This is a customer helps customer forum. You aren’t addressing a Sky Customer Service agent here. Did Sky not update you as to a potential new installation date when you spoke to them earlier? Depending on what work needs to be done it could be something as simple as a lack of available Openreach engineers in your area.
