Just moved in and signed contract for broadband and TV. Now TV is installed but I still do not have any internet, as I didn't receive the box. I even did not receive any tracking information. How much time does it take???

If I would know... Subscription is for the bundle, but messages only on TV installation, which took place today.

Typically broadband has a minimum ten working day lead time from placing the order.

Many thanks. However, typically and minimum do not really help me. I would like Sky to provide clear information on the delays in installation. No word from their side when broadband will be provided. They don't have problems to send already invoices... That means I will have to pay for a service that I don't have and for which I even don't know when I will have it. I need the broadband more than the TV.

Broadbsnd activations are not done by the ISP be it Now or Sky themselves but by Openreach whose lead time for orders is a minimum 10 working days from order. While Now is part of the Sky group the admin and systems are different but you should have had an email with the activation date.

??? I'm living in IRELAND, no Openreach or NOW, it's Sky only.

In the Republic of Ireland, ISPs contract with Eir to provide the equivalent service to Openreach in the UK. Eir will also have a lead time to provision broadband to an address: that's just not something ISPs can do on their own.
Eir being effectively a monopoly provider of telecoms infrastructure is a legacy of the privatisation of Telecom Éireann in a very similar way to how Openreach emerged from the end of state ownership of British Telecom.

Yes, I know, and this was not my question neither. I have a contract with Sky, I pay Sky, they have to organise that I get the receiver and broadband. I even don't need to know with whom and how they do that. As already indicated, I expect Sky to inform me when this will be done, and not only send invoices ... Please do not report more personal experiences or estimations, I was looking here for somebody from Sky who can give clear answers.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@MoltaireThat is something that you will not get on a public customer to customer based forum, Sky has no way of knowing who you are from a forum post. If there is no information in track orders about your router delivery, then you will have to contact Sky yourself to chase this up.
For the most part you are talking to other customers on the forum who give up their free time and knowledge to help others and direct them as best they can.

There are quite a few discussions where people from Sky have replied or created a dedicated chat. That's what I was looking for. I know very well that nobody else can tell me where we are with my order and how much more time it will take.
