broadband issues
thought Id ask the community for help before i consider swapping provider.
Ive got the Full fiber 900 package from Sky, had no issues until last week saturday, the first skyhub box light was flashing a steady green, then a solid red, Did the online troubleshooting, then still had issues, contacted they sent a new hub out, connected the new hub same issue, the white light is on when i use online gaming it disconnects me from the wifi says no internet and the light is flashing.
A engineer has come out no issue from the city and fiber side.
I have tried Wifi and ethernet, I have checked other posts and done things like turning both off and back on, syncing, still does not want to work.
My sky app aint no use as it states there is no issues, I have a sky booster too, Still does not want to work, Replaces ethernet cables with Cat 8 and above still nothing.
I am Really considering to swapping provider, Just hoping i can get help until monday

Re: broadband issues
@Tony_ unless you are still in the initial 31 day cooling off period if you leave Sky you will be hit with a significant cancellation charge unless Sky waives it which they may do if you give them a reasonable chance to sort the issue. That the issue was not cured by a change in hub does imply an issue at the exchange or in Sky's back haul rather than the passive fibre connection the engineer checked. These issues are not common but do happen.
Call Sky and explain the history so the agent does not simply go round the same loop but escalates the issue to the network teams. You can make it a formal complaint if you want but it is a bit premature. If it is an issue at the exchange in the Openreach kit then the issue is likely to move with you if you do decide to switch isp.
