Hello,
I am having issues where mine and my son's Xboxs keep disconnecting from the internet.
One is an Xbox series X in the living room wired to the Sky Q hub. The other is an One S in my son's bedroom with a wireless connection.
Speed tests all other the house are absolutely fine and all other devices on the network wired or wireless have no issues at all.
I have reset both consoles (even switched the One S for another one), reset them, disconnected from the network and re connected them and nothing seems to work.
We were with Virgin media before and never had this issue.
Anyone else come across this and no of a reason or a fix?
Thank you

Thank you for the reply. It's daily (everytime we boot them up they won't connect and we have to restart the Xbox until it does). Then it's regularly enough while playing to be a real pain.

Your line dropped over 150 hours ago.
You speeds could be better but nothing that would both affect ethernet and wifi at the same time on a daily basis
What is your minimum guaranteed download speed?

My guaranteed minimum is 38mb but I normally get around 48.
The issue happened again just now litteraly a few minutes after getting the router statistics

@ConnorMB can you run tests on my sky app and post the details in more about your connection
Also when you say yours is connected via ethernet are you connected to any devices that are reliant on wifi such as a sky broadband booster

Sorry, what's the MMX sky app?
The Xbox series X is wired straight into the Sky Q hub

Is this enough?
I have thought maybe trying to open some ports to see if that helps?

Just to let you know incase it comes up again. I solved it mate.
For some reason by default Sky doesn't have all of the ports open for Xbox Live (found other people having the same issue)
I found a list of the recommended ports from the Microsoft website l, manually opened them and all seems to be working now, also had to make a static IP address for my console.
Thank you for the support!
