Wire broken on openreach cable no wifi or internet

Noticed I had no WiFi or internet lights on my router, checked wires in the back and noticed a broken wire

@Dannyway76

Try running this line test to see if it finds any faults because if it does it should let you book an engineer repair:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.

Re: Wire broken on openreach cable no wifi or internet

@Dannyway76 If the cable is from the purple socket back off the sky Hub to the OR Master phone socket, then it is a standard RJ11 DSL cable, would be a lot quicker for you to get one direct from the likes off amazon, currys, tesco etc rather than trying to get one out off sky...
