Wifi

To whom this may concern,

I need help, I have tryed to ring sky so many times however I'm on hold for around 30 minutes all the time and can never get through.
im just in some need with help with my wifi. I have been a customer with Sky for at least 7 years now. And it's gone down hill and keeps going down hill as the days go on.
I'm not sure if it's because my router is 7 years old and I'm in need of a new one. Some problems include...

-Wifi doesn't have a good speed

-sometimes goes off on it's own.

-Sometimes we cannot even connect to the

-wifi doesn't show up on our mobiles

-download isn't good

My older daughter works from home and requires wifi however this isn't possible because it's that slow.

I'm basically paying money for something that doesn't work. I hope for some help because of this doesn't get resolved I'm going have to cancel my broadband with Sky

Thankyou and Kind Regards

David Shepherd

@Anonymous   You are not addressing Sky via the forum, we are all customers here, threats to cancel won't get you anywhere.  Thats not how it works.    Before anything can happen you need to follow a number of steps to identify if it's a fault with your line or if it's poor wifi within the home.

Please can you post your router stats so the forum can advise on any issues. This link explains how to do that https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717#

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Anonymous

Wait times for phone support can be well over 30mins at peak times. You'll just need to be patient or try calling at quieter times which is often early morning or after 8pm

Three models of Sky router hardware are currently in-support, but the 'Sky Hub' is effectively obsolete.
