Wifi not working with smartphone

Hello, I've been having issues with the Wi-Fi since day one. It is connected and functioning well with most devices like the smart TV, security cameras, and Alexa. However, it doesn't work at all with smartphones. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Wi-Fi on the smartphones, but it hasn't helped. It's frustrating because I'm forced to use my mobile data on the smartphones. Please help! @skysupport

@LordTowers you are not talking to Sky support by posting in the forum.

First point if other devices connect normally then the issue is with your phone's set up. There is one setting people find annoying is that phones switch to use mobile data if that is faster than their home WiFi. Thst is great if you have unlimited mobile data but a pain if you don't and is getting more common as upgrades tomthe mobile network give better speeds.

Check your phone's set up sonfor example on iPhones go into Settings/Mobile Data and scroll down to the bottom where there is a setting called WiFi Assist disable that and see if that helps.

"Hello, thank you for your response. I've tried the solution you provided, but there have been no improvements. I dont think thre issue is related to my my phone because I use a WiFi connection all day long at work, and this never happens."
