When tested over WiFi or ethernet cable? The '100 guarentee' is delivery from the internet to the Hub, not Hub to wireless device.

Re: Wifi max hub slower speed
Ethernet , hub not receiving proper download speed , come up red on sky app , saying there is a issue . That's how it was supposed to be action by network team.
I only have ultrafast plus , but according to open reach can get the 900 mbs ?!

Re: Wifi max hub slower speed
'Ultrafast+' is a 500Mbs wholesale speed band: the optical fibre is capable of multi gigabit (although most current ONTs and ISP routers only have gigabit chipsets)
If there's a network issue upstream of your ONT then unfortunately only Openreach can resolve that.

Re: Wifi max hub slower speed
It is just co incidence that my internet slows down once I install the new WiFi max router . All was better with original one . The sky geeks must surely have a firmware fix for this by now?!

Re: Wifi max hub slower speed
The Max Hub was released last year, so is certainly a less mature product than the 2019 Sky Broadband Hub.

Re: Wifi max hub slower speed
I had 100Mbps around the house with old router as it makes a mesh network with SkyQ mini boxes and extender. Upgrading to Ultrafast 1000Mbps saw no speed increase at all.
Changing the router to WiFi Max saw it shoot up to 600Mbps near the router.
My son's bedroom has the old extender and gets about 10 or 20. Apparently we need a new extender as well.

Re: Wifi max hub slower speed
@Dougal111 Few things, can you hide you IP address when you post and attach pictures please, and as you are doing a wireless speed test, already showing that your wireless strength issue on that mobile device then for sure not going to give you any real indication to what is going on, time to call sky for you and see where it all stands for the hub attached account wise etc
The sky Max hub is not anything like what you have for an old hub whichever one that is!
