Wifi issues
Broadband and WiFi has no issues when tested, however WiFi seems to drop out or be really slow on devices. Hub isn't in a cupboard, so it's in a pretty open space. I have a wifi extender that's in the same room as the hub by the door, but still the wifi isn't great, especially upstairs but can be the same downstairs and even when in the same room as the hub.

Re: Wifi issues
@Meathead77 dounds like poor WiFi signal strength. Was the WiFi extender supplied by Sky or is it from a third party? Sky's extenders are matched to the Sky hub so they cannot cause interference while third party ones are not and can make things worse if the hub and extender use the same or adajacent WiFi channel rebooting your hub should cause it to find a less congested channel when it restarts..
Normally fitting an extenders in the same room is pointless unless the home is open plan and seriously large. The best position for extenders is in a hall as that has good access to other floors and as a rule should be no more than half way to where you need the boost. If you have Sky's WiFi Max bundlecand a single pod extenders is not sufficent give them a call and they will arrange for an engineer to visit who can authorise up to 2 more pods. The alternative is to buy a third party mesh system and use that instead of the WiFi signal from the hub which you turn off. This is the solution I use myself where a 3 unit system costing under £100 gives decent speeds ( over 150Mb/s) in every room of my 3 level home but a lot depends on the layout of your home and when it was built older homes with solid walls are always challenging.
