Sky guaranteed it would reach all areas, but it seems to struggle to my garden office.
All inside areas: detached buildings are specifically excluded in the wording of the 'guarantee'.
‘Every room’ under our Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee includes: all main rooms in your home like living rooms, bedrooms
Up to 5 bedrooms or 12 rooms total which includes:
A garage that’s accessed without having to go outside.
A converted loft room – it needs to have a fixed staircase, fully boarded and furnished.
Conservatory.
What it doesn’t include:
Any exterior buildings like garages, sheds, annexes, etc.
An unconverted loft – one that is not furnished.

Re: Wifi dropouts
As mentioned already, a garden office would certainly not be part of Sky's WiFi guarantee, nor likely any ISP. For reliable home working in an external office you should have ethernet cabling run to it.

Re: Wifi dropouts
Thanks, however, my office is attached to and part of the main house. I have upgraded to the new max hub 6 at a monthly cost of £8.00 discounted from £10.00😊

Re: Wifi dropouts
@Fudge+and+Toffee No reason why not to get the pod then, you still need to call sky to get one though!

Re: Wifi dropouts
@Fudge+and+Toffee Remember it has to be close enough to the sky hub to get a good signal and far enough to reach your office extending the wireless wifi out that way!

Re: Wifi dropouts
If there's foil laminate foam insulation in the walls then that's a fairly effective Faraday Cage.

Re: Wifi dropouts
Yes, that's a good point to make although it doesn't apply to us. But thank you for your response.
The pod seems happy much nearer to the hub than I expected. The challenge I have now seems to be a couple of our Samsung televisions don't appear to be able to pick up the hub or pod🤔

Re: Wifi dropouts
@Fudge+and+Toffee Do you happen to have a wi-fi analyzer ideally on a laptop but if not on your mobile device! It would also be good to say how close distance that you have the pod with reference to the sky max pod.
Something going on with channel, power etc on your wireless wi-fi network, also have you changed/set the wpa level on the max hub!
