Wifi consitently drops from 25mbps to 2-3mbps within 48hrs of a reset

My wifi keeps dropping. I consistently get 27mbps to my hub, but my mobile phone which is only 2-3 metres away sometimes only receives 2mbps. Once i restart the wifi, my devices get 24-25mbph, but within 2-3 days it's dropped back to 2-3mbps on my devices.

In my house it's only 2 mobiles and a printer connected at all times, plus a tablet or laptop for a short while.

My tv has a wired connection and the wifi device is a Hub 6, which I've had 2-3 years.  Do you think my wifi hub is nearing the end of it's life?

@cjohagan unlikely to be the hub failing they either work or they dont. If your Sky hub is over 7 years old it may need replacing as the symptoms you descibe are consistent with intereference from other networks which plagued the older single band hubs. Sky will replace thse if asked.

Otherwise download a wifi analyzer app onto your phone these are normally ad supported so are free to use and show all the wifi networks in range with the channel they use. If there is another network using the same or adjacent channel as yours you will get interference. Restarting the hub makes it choose the best channel but over a few days the other routers in range can swich to improve their signal so spoiling yours. Dualband routers should be less affected as the 5GHzband has less range.
