The wifi conection is good, the problem only started when i had this new hub. It allows you to ring out but wont receive. Or if i reset everything it will reveive once then seem to block it, apparently there needs to be some fix sent to my router as this is a common problem.

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
@Stephen0000 assuming all other apps on tge phone arecworking normally cgeck with your mobile service provider as WiFi calling is dependent on their support. The only way the hub could be involved is if the WiFi connection between the phone and the hub was not good enough.

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
Hey - Is your phone an apple phone? I posted a thread here, whihc has gained traction and appears to be a known issue that SKy wo't nessicaril admit to (or hasn't to me) with the new hub and the new Sky hub max router. Its been so infuriating for me because i hdon't have any mobile signal to fall back onto and so i am missing important work calls etc.

Yes it is, so have they resolved the problem for you? I will need to cancel my contract if they dont fix mine in the next few days.

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
no they haven't yet. I have an engineer coming out next monday - But i posted a post about this issue and had loads of replys and suggestions etc - Might be worth having a look if you can. They haven't admitted to me that there is a issue - but another customer said an engineer has told them.
They sent me an extender (even though its not the strength/speed that is a issue) and it appears when i am connected to the extender the calls are more solid byt when connected to the hub calls drop out all the time! Its so frustrating.

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
I am experiencing the same issue with Wi-Fi Calling on my iPhone while connected to Sky Broadband.
Given the increasing number of similar reports from Sky customers, I believe Sky Support should start taking this issue more seriously and investigate it properly. The problem appears to affect users in different countries, with different mobile operators and devices, which suggests that there could be a common issue related to the way Sky routers or network configurations handle Wi-Fi Calling.
In my case, the Wi-Fi connection itself is stable and fast, yet Wi-Fi Calling can randomly stop working, incoming calls may fail to arrive over Wi-Fi, and calls can unexpectedly drop Wi-Fi Calling and switch to the mobile network.
As these reports appear to be becoming increasingly widespread, I hope Sky will begin investigating whether there is an underlying issue with its router configurations or network infrastructure rather than simply attributing the problem to Wi-Fi signal strength or individual devices.

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
This is exactly what is happening to mine.
There are probably loads of users that don't realise there is a problem if they have strong mobile signal.
sky need to sort it out, if they can🤷♂️

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
Hi, given your role as a Superuser, would you have any way to help us escalate this issue to Sky?
There are now many reports from different customers experiencing very similar Wi-Fi Calling problems, and the issue is still clearly reproducible today. We have tried discussing it across several threads, but it doesn’t seem to be reaching the appropriate technical team.
Do you know if there is a way for you, as a Superuser, to bring this to Sky’s attention or have it properly escalated for investigation?
Any help in getting this issue in front of the right technical team would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
@Emon2 Sky staff monitor the forums and pick up issues but is only one of the channels that cause an issue to be escalated but I will ask.the forum team to look at this thread. However WiFi calling problems are a regular feature on other isps forums. I found this recent thread on the Sky Mobile forum concerning issues with EE hubs,

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
They escalated it to tech team for me, they sent a fix to my router( disabled something) and i had a text saying it was fixed. But it is still the same. So back to square 1.

Re: Wifi calling through sky max router
yeah seems to be the usual response!!! mine hasn't improved on my phone at all. The engineer is out Monday so see what he says. I can't watch anything really on my phone without the constant disconnection, Calls are constantly cutting in and out and sometimes not even made. We don't have a mobile network to fall back on so i am totally reliant on wi-fi! this just isn't good enough. I am going to see what the engineer says monday and then raise it higher as a complaint after.
