What connection do you have?
It does have a vdsl modem so will work on fttc superfast connections as well as fttp just not g.fast and sky q minis

If you can get the sky max hub it would show in your my sky app -> product settings
Have you ever had sky q tv but moved to sky stream or glass

This does not stop you getting your own 3rd party WiFi 6 router though if thats what you'd like to have. Although I do not see the benefit of having it when you only have superfast, not ultrafast, unless you are doing lots of local LAN transfers over WiFi.

Honestly I'd look at 3rd party solutions over Sky's offering. Its still very much a half baked product at the moment

A WiFi 6 access point would be a more cost effective option to getting a WiFi 6 router because it's easier to set up.
I use a couple of Netgear WAX206 AP's as a wifi bridge between the Sky hub and my office upstairs, purely because it would be a PITA hardwiring, and get a fairly consistant 850 Mbps on a Sky Gigafast connection.

Just get a WiFi 6 access point and connect it to your sky router with gigabit cable on a gigabit port.
set the new access points SSID to something denoting it is the WiFi 6 connection and bobs your uncle.
😀😀😀
