WiFi router red light broadband not working

My sky broadband router had a solid red light and no devices are able to connect to the internet. Ran system checks multiple times only for them to come back and say there isn't an issue which clearly isn't correct . Used the sky bot but keeps repeating the same solutions of running a system check and then timing out. Very frustrating

If the red light it still present after a reboot then did you run the broadband line test as per this:

 

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/broadband-diagnostic-start


You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.


After this has finished and if it reports back all is good click on broadband to run an updated test. If you get amber or red please follow the on screen instructions.


If this is of no help give Sky a call to report it to them.

Thanks - yes, finally after a couple of hours the sky testing page showed their was an error. Despite going through all the various steps multiple times, no joy. 

I've logged an escalation to sky last night but given it can be up to 72 hours for a response, I'm not holding out much hope. This morning the red solid light is still on the router. 

I've finally found the phone number for customer service as well (which is very hidden on the site!) so will have to try that as well
