WiFi pod issues

- i have a WiFi Max hub

- installed 1 pod which came via post - all ok

- sky came out to fit 2 extra pods for better coverage - all ok

- power cut over weekend - all pods now disconnected

- first pod I installed shows in app as offline

- have re- booted everything. Ont first, waited, then hub etc

- have tried searching for pods on the app, just one plugged in etc etc

- any ideas or shall I just reset all 3 pods and start again

surely the kit should be more intuitive than this!

Re: WiFi pod issues

Scrap the resetting part - there isn't a reset

button, or a WPS button 😫

Re: WiFi pod issues

Thanks for the link Jim - tried all that, nada.

Guess I'll have to arrange an engineer visit, so frustrating!

Will try to escalate this with Sky and see if they'll let me exit the contract and I can get back to Virgin. Only 5 weeks in and nothing but problems!

Re: WiFi pod issues

@Windsor1985 No experience on anything Max flavoured never used and never will, too many bad points! Not sure if sky support can remote reset them assume they can but know idea how a user does it! They may all be toast depending on the power cut that you had! Does anything happen like sitting white light flashing on them?

Found this in the search see if any good

yes I did get it fixed in the end but not due to Sky. I  used a cat 5 cable and connected it to my router directly and then checked it synce ld n the my sky app under broadband devices. It did and then I moved it upstairs and connected it to the wall and then checked the my sky app again and it kept connected. The max boosters do seem to go in and out of connection sometimes though, but I overcame this by moving the router more into the house. The engineers are pretty good and are helpful, you should book a visit Hope this helps.
