WiFi/phone

I'm getting internet that works on and off but mostly off. It will work then it won't. Then all of a sudden it will work for a short time before cutting out again. The router has got the 2 other lights that are green but not wifi. Also my landline phone is not working. Booked a visit but it ain't till 27th. Was hoping maybe an answer on here could sort it so I can have wifi over Christmas

If it's an external 'line' issue then nothing suggested here can help with that, and unfortunately there are now no working days until next week (and not many then either).

You might consider acquiring a cellular router as an alternative.
