WiFi not working that well

We have recently had sky broadband installed and it seems to work intermittently or it's very slow. Previously we had a local provider and was a standard set up which seemed faster. Could we request someone looks at this as it's causing more hassle than it's worth?

Firstly, see what it shows from the following that may show some problems local to you or with your equipment.

To check there are no ongoing current outages in your area;

Next, if not, would be worth try running a line test;
