WiFi not working properly when connected to mobile
My WiFi doesn't seem to be working properly when connected to my mobile. It works on every other device fine, I can stream on my TV with no issues, use my laptop and computer with no issued. But my mobile slowly gives up with the WiFi, I'll toggle it on and it will work fine for a few minutes and then I will have to toggle it off because it stops working. I have done all reset options for my mobile and WiFi.
My mobile used to show a message that said connected no Internet. Im not sure if this is an issue with sky or my mobile is losing the ability to connect to the WiFi

Re: WiFi not working properly when connected to mobile
Hi, I can connect to the WiFi and it shows I'm connected but when I'm connected it takes a while to load or not at all.

Re: WiFi not working properly when connected to mobile
@Eddie143 You could remove the wi-fi connection details completely from the mobile phone by telling it to forget the network details, if you do be sure to power off the phone before trying to re-connect it!

Re: WiFi not working properly when connected to mobile
I've already tried this with forgetting the WiFi. I have also made sure the software on my mobile is up to date, I've soft reset my phone, reset my WiFi router, edited the IP and Mac settings on the WiFi mobile settings, reset my mobile multiple times, checked the connection to each device on the sky app and there's no issues with the connectivity. It only seems to be my mobile that is having issues. I can connect to everything else fine, I'm streaming netflix with no lags or buffers on my TV but I cant play a tiktok video on my mobile without it pausing every 2 seconds. It's only me and my partner and we have our own mobiles and usually watch TV together. Other than our wireless cameras and doorbell there isn't much else connected to the WiFi. We can both run our work computers fine at the same time as well but my mobile just isn't connecting like it used to.
I think we have full fibre 150 with a white hub .
My phone is a Samsung galaxy S21 ultra, its roughly 3 years old.

Hi, yes I have already changed the security level to WPA2 and it didn't improve anything

Re: WiFi not working properly when connected to mobile
@Eddie143 Problem i had with my Samsung A54 was symptom wise, no issue connecting, always fine download would drop from 500Mb/s all the way down to 12Mb/s, upload was always 100% at the 70Mb/s mark, fix was simple, wireless off, wait 5-10 seconds wireless on and back to full download speed instant on re-connect, it may stay that way for a few hours, think longest was about 8hrs, eventually it would just decay away, once it got down to low speed IT WOULD NEVER recover, had to wireless off/on.
I fought it hard for 2 months was not a priority as not a phone guy, for me phones are for making calls, nothing else....
To test it out and get to the bottom off it, i placed the phone next to my Asus router test took 48hrs so i was 100% sure, as i had come to the conclusion the ONLY think that this can be is POOR wireless signal strength, periodically checked it, fine running max speed, displaying synced at 1200Mb/s, so great no issues, nothing to do with the phone just likes to have a strong signal...
Order another AP for coverage, it arrived 30/6 and installed it imediately and not had one single issue since then.
Would have swore blind nothing to do with the hub, signal at phone hoovered around the -62db range, not great but not bad also now new AP -38db which is excellent at the best off times. Pictures on the link below if you need to see.

Re: WiFi not working properly when connected to mobile
@Eddie143 Keep it simple therecshould be no need to edit mac or IP addresses instead simply set the mobile to get the settings from the hub automatically at most edit the DNS setting to add a public DNS address to the list I find Google's service works for me at 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Otherwise use the vanilla settings shich should work. There is no pressing need to use some of the security services that ios and Android offer like private ip addrsssing etc on a trusted home connection so try turning these off. Also check is a setting on your mobile data called wifi assist or something similar isnt active as that can cause phones to jump between wifi and mobile if the phone things mobile data is better.
