@Pav53 The issue would be better if you said what you have, the Forum is not Sky Customer Service, we are all customers like you, prompt to find out what you have and suggesting what is best to do, but it is a two way street, you need to say what you have, and just looking at the post it's taken all this so you have sky Q and what sky hub and booster are you using, see the links below for both and say what you have from the pictures!

@Pav53 reolacing a hub with another unit will never over come issues with poor WiFi signal in your home. The main factors affecting WiFi speeds are the layout and type of construction of your home. You could ask Sky for an extrnder if you pay for their WiFi Max package.

Re: WiFi n sky box

A Sky engineer attended and added a WiFi booster.
issue resolved partially as the WiFi signal drops out intermittently.

need to contact sky again to resolve.

Re: WiFi n sky box

The router is less than 30 feet from the TV Sky Q box. WiFi signals to other devices work just fine. Our broadband signal is excellent only problem is that the sky box is having difficulty!
according to the Sky Engineer that attended our home, if issue persist the only other option to run a cable from the phone socket to the Sky Q box

Ethernet port, not 'phone socket'.  The appropriate cable is Cat5e ethernet.
