@Ptg1174 Sky do not send out boosters/pods as default when you subscribe to WiFi max, they only do so if you do not get the guranteed WiFi speed in every room, you have to request them and even then you are not guranteed to get one as Sky may choose to send out an engineer first to check your set up.

@Ptg1174 This is what you are paying for with WiFi Max,

Sky WiFi Max

Add this to one of our Part Fibre or Full Fibre Sky Broadband packages to get:

  • Our fastest WiFi Guarantee - WiFi in every room or money back.
  • Advanced security for safer browsing.
  • Parental controls to take charge of your home WiFi.
  • Engineer visits at a time that suits you.
  • Mobile data for broadband outages.
  • Prioritise a device for an enhanced connection.

@peter-marlow+1966 The extra cost each month has nothing at all to do with the router.
