WiFi keeps losing connection with Sky Q box

I have recently installed a new broadband Max router. Now my skybox keeps disconnecting from the Wi-Fi every day. 
the broadband is still online, but I have to keep doing a WPS search on the router to reconnect it. Also my Wi-Fi speed is now slower since I've had the new box installed than it was before. is this correct?

@Nealee only a main Sky box can be connected to a Sky Max hub so if it is a Q mini that should now be connected to the main Q box. This is different from thecway Sky Q worked with the black Sky hub you had before. If still stucck talk to Sky as they should provide a booster to help connectvyour Q boxes
