WiFi ff dropped massive

Evening , I had ff500 installed n October had issues so they sent me the sr213 router on the 12 November, was going great 514 average to the hub and around 525-532 WiFi pretty much round the house , no extenders needed , today when I came home from work it's fluctuating a bit on my he speed to the hub but over WiFi it's terrible around 150-160 , when I use Speedtest the needle never seems to get over 150 now , I've unplugged router but still no joy , tearing hair out.

@Tom+Shinkwin Have you done a wired Ethernet test?

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

@Tom+Shinkwin Then switch the sky Hub off for 5 mins, power it back up, wait until it goes Internet connected and see what happens, the sky Max that you have could auto channel and your devices are struggling, will run a quick speed test to see what is going on here if anything. Nothing untowards currently!

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

Being doing that all night , nothing changes , it seems like it's stuck around the 150 mark , just tested the sky app to the hub says 512

@Tom+Shinkwin Just run and posted a wireless wifi about 20 foot away from the Asus router FF500 so ran max speed! Linked on the other post!

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

Thank you , I guess it's a call to sky in the morning , like I said it's been perfect over WiFi until today

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

@Tom+Shinkwin Is it EVERY device that is giving you that, because it looks like a device may have clamped on the 2.4Ghz band with lower speed, ie you mobile, so try it off as a reset!

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

Speed to the hub has dropped now to 474 from 512 earlier

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

@Tom+Shinkwin Looks like you are going to have to call sky, if the service checker is showing you Full Speed to the hub that is all they are going to go with from there end and you have nothing capable to disprove it!

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

Re: WiFi ff dropped massive

@Tom+Shinkwin Sorry did not see the earlier post, at least you know now that a wps reset did not do anything, it is always very hard to prove that a wireless wifi signal is working correct at the sky Max hub level. Nothing available to look at as far as i know, have just no experience off that particular hub, to see where the system is channeling at for both frequency's so the Ethernet test is about it to push the data through!

If the service checker is returning the 500Mb/s or anywhere up near that range that is what sky are going with!
