WiFi drops constantly
We suddenly started getting issues with our wifi dropping out about a month ago. We upgraded our sky and this new box might actually be worse. We're trying to get help but are met with their virtual assistant who doesn't do anything. We've done every form of troubleshooting you can think of and we can't move the location of our wifi box because of where our broadband is in the wall socket. Has anyone else had any luck actually getting hold of sky for issues like this?

Re: WiFi drops constantly
@Dpac123 if your hub is not out in the open and reasonsbly high thst can be a good part of your problem. You can quite easily buy a longer cable to connect then hub to the phone sicket or ONT if you have partial or full fibre. The partial fibre nedds a DSL cable with rj11 connecters. Full fibre uses an Ethernet cable with rj45 connecters. Both are availabke at hardware stores or larger supermarkets. Nothing special in the cables Sky supply which are pretty short.
Look at the lights on the hub if they dont change when you lose connectivity the issue is likely simpky poor wifi signal so you may need additional kit to extend tgecsignal to more distant kit. Sky will sell you their wifi max package which can supply up to 3 extenders https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or you can buy anf use your own wifi kit which can work out cheaper in the long run.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
