WiFi connection upstairs

We currently have issues with our WiFi upstairs.

we have a booster provided by sky but we are unable to receive full WiFi speeds upstairs

Please can you define 'full WiFi speeds'?
You are never going to achieve 'full' speed over WiFi, especially when you are further away from the router and connecting via a booster.
