WiFi and ethernet streaming

Hi all , there is a film that I like to watch occasionally, nothing dodgy before anyone asks but it's not on TV so I have to stream it , my fire stick on WiFi via a VPN and the film streams fine ! My downstairs fire stick is on ethernet to my Sky router , via a VPN and the film still doesn't play !!! Could it be ethernet settings in my router ? Thanks

@edgie700 Are you using the same VPN for both, wifi or ethernet connection should make zero difference, why not swap the firesticks about to see!

It's the same VPN on both sticks even when I watch on my phone which is on WiFi using the VPN the film works fine

@edgie700 May just be the Ethernet adapter for the Firestick then!

@edgie700 there are no settings on the Sky hub that can block data over Ethernet that works over WiFi. I would check the VPN set up on the problem firestick as that is the most likely cause.
