WiFi and Sky Q connection issues
WiFi constantly dropping connection which affects the Sky Q mini on 2nd floor
I have an Extender for the SR203 on the 1st floor to boost signal (which it did by 150%)
WiFi I'm getting 250MB right next to it, dropping to 150MB on 1st Floor, then 60MB max on 2nd floor, the drop out makes no sense , Would the newer WiFi Max Hub solve this?

Re: WiFi and Sky Q connection issues
@1Law You would get into the same problems you are just now with the new max router and have to get booster pods. Have you spoken to Sky again about getting another booster or advice on what you might need to sort this issue out of the lack of speed?
If you have found this solution helpful please tick this as the answer.

Re: WiFi and Sky Q connection issues
@1Law The way the booster's are going, expect about 50% off the speed that you would get at the booster in respect to the hub, Then about 20 foot further away from the booster and more from the hub lower again. Speed is relevant to distance from each, and how the device is also. It's radio at the end off the day hopping along point to point, 1 goes to 2, 2 goes to 3. and back an forth....

Re: WiFi and Sky Q connection issues
I have tried talking to Sky a number of times, I tried to be as clear as possible, but they kept saying speed to the house was fine, and I gave up, I found them extremely difficult to liaise with.
My contract expires in November 2025, and I want a solution that works, but I have limited on options where I live, its BT or Sky using BT Openreach
Yes its a new buld, very well insulated over 3 floors, but I would be happy without the constanst drop outs, we have to unplug and reboot Sky Q numerous times a day and the Router twice a week.
If the new Sky Hub and Pods would fix this or reduce drop outs I would do it.
