WiFi Security Levels

I wonder if anyone can help. I'm unable to connect to my work VPN and server since Sky has been installed. I wanted to change the WiFi security levels, but the option is not showing when I log in to either my online account or the app? I've tried product settings but the hub isn't showing. Any ideas?

@MrsMorty If you have the white Sky hub you change the security level in the My Sky app in the Product Settings area shere you should find a section for the. Sky Max hub click on that then the Advanced section. While that hub does default to WPA3T and you can down grade to WPA2 it is unlikely to be the issue for your VPN if your laptop has connected to the WiFi network.

Sky are using a method of sharing IP4 addresses called MAP-T which cause some VPNs issues first try the steps in this post UPnP set up which works for some but not all cases. If still stuck post again with details of the VPN software you use.

Re: WiFi Security Levels

Hi, Yes I do have the white sky hub, it's the new streaming set up. The app doesn't give me the option to change the wifi security settings, only broadband shield?

@MrsMorty thst is only an issue if the device cannot connect to the hub and should not affect the VPN however if signing out closing tgen re-opening the My Sky app doesn't make the settings appear call Sky.
