WiFi Booster con
New to Sky Broadband, I was offered WiFi boosters for £8 / month. I declined, because my BT Router was able to cover the whole house, so I thought the much newer Sky router would too. Strangely though, when I swapped routers to the sparkly new Sky one, the coverage was poor and didn't cover the same as the BT router did. No signal at all in my bedroom. After them telling me I would need to spend and extra £8 a month and me telling them no, I'll go back to BT, all of a sudden they were able to fix the router so that it did cover the whole house. Disapointing that many will fall for the tactic and end up £8 a month poorer. Anyone else noticed similar? No doubt this post will vanish after awhile, if it gets posted at all.

Re: WiFi Booster con
@Anonymous At least your post is still up and cannot see why sky would pull it down on you, known fact that the sky Hub is better than what you had with the BT Router as an out and out, but there is a down side to going up in spec! Boosting Mesh sky has can have some benefits but it's not the be all and end all for everyone, especially when asked to pay more!
You will probably find they adjusted, but here is the help link for you!
Sky Max change settings link.
