Wi fi not working
So we have had an issue with broad band since friday and now its monday ...... no broadband ! Suddenly reconnects sunday for a few hrs then gone again . Was told by the process on friday an engineer would look outside the property in 2-5 days as an outside issue ! Go through system this morning and says all is fine ...... but i do recieve an email offering me an out with no charges !!! It states the broadband is so slow !!! Someone pls help ..... nothing makes sence !!! We recently reduced our package too

@Paul331 sounds like Openreach have checked your line and determined it would be too costly to improve it so it will provide the minimum guaranteed speeed. This is becoming more common as Openreach plan to decommission the whole copper phone.network in a few years when full fibre is available. Much of their copper network is getting very old and is increasingly unreliable. The recent wet weather has not helped as water can make issues worse.
The issue is switching from Sky to any other isp using the same Openreach line will have the same issue. It would be worth switching to Virgin Media or any other supplier who uses a different network or to use mobile broadband. Otherwise you maybhave to live with a somewhat unreliable service until full fibre is run to replace tge copper.
