Wi fi issues

Hello upgraded to Full fibre 300 with guaranteed wifi in every room about a month ago. Issues ever since. WiFi keeps dropping out to the extent that Ring and games consoles sometimes won't connect as it says weak signal. All was fine on my old contract which was 150 fibre. tried all the usual tips, restarting, moving hub around the house etc but no good any advice please. thanks

@macbun  When you upgraded to fibre 300 did you change router or is this the same router you had when you had fibre 150?

Re: Wi fi issues

Hello, I think it was the broadband hub.

I did have sky Q at the same time, but when I upgraded the broadband I ditched sky tv completely

Thanks

@macbun  Do you still have the broadband hub or did you send it back? As that hub would have done the job just as well.

Re: Wi fi issues

They asked for it back, and I sent it back.

They provided a brand new one (white in colour)

@macbun I would have kept the black one for a bit to see if the new white one worked okay and then when it did not work as well called them so you could send the white one back and kept using the black one.
