Re: Wi-Fi keeps dropping out. Tested while fault on fast.com and got 7.6Mbps
@Paul430 the problem with speed tests is they show the slowest part of the connection between the server and the device which is frequently the WiFi speed in your home. Sky only guarantee the speed to the hub. You can see the current connection speed to your hub by running the Service Checker in the My Sky app and clicking on the Broadband link. That will also show the recent history and tge guaranteed speed for your line. If the speed is below the guarantee the app should offer to book an engineer.
If tgst is fine tgen the issue is tge WiFi signal in your home which is affected by the layout and shether you have solid walls as opposed to psrtitions and the amount of interference which are not issues Sky can control. You can do a but yourself by making sure your hub is in the open on a surface so its signal is not compromised by furniture etc. Rebooting can help with interference as the hub will choose the least congested wifi channel but in thecdnd you msy need better wifi kit.
