Can anyone tell me if sky utilize city fibre ?

@Rd-j  They have recently signed up to the CityFibre network.  Do Sky currently provide a broadband service to you?

 

You should be able to see any deals for Gigabit & higher speeds here Sky's Best Broadband Deals & WiFi Packages
