Whats happened to Skys customer service?

On the second of November I received an email stating Sky have been trying to contact me regarding ongoing problems over the past months which resulted in me raising a complaint. Firstly this was untrue, I have not had any calls from Sky either on my mobile or my landline or by email. The complaint refers to two things:-

1) My Sky mobile signal is very poor indoor and outdoor (even though I'm in a green zone for 4G (5G is not available) and the transmission masts are less than 1 mile away. I do not have high trees or high buildings near to me.  Now I accept that for whatever reason I'm in a poor reception area despite the coverage map but I can place my mobile on a table next to an open door and watch it go from briefly 4G to two bars 2g to emergency calls only in a space of five minutes.  I 've changed my phone, sim card reset network settings etc etc. Now this is aso compounded by point 2

2) Wi-fi calling is an absolute disaster to the extent that Sky phone me back on my landline. I can be sitting right in front of the router and still the call breaks up or is so distorted that a converastion is impossile. The router has been changed three times without improvement and Sky, BT all claim that the systems fine except of course it is not as they well know when they try to talk to me over VOIP. I've changed settings rebooted upteem times moved router location etc. Hours on the phone being passed from department to department and no one seems to understand whats going wrong. but I get the same reply from Sky our system says everything is fine. The latest explanation is MAC address conflict and was told to shut down all my computers, router for 24 hours! Did that work - no. In addition they charged me fo a supehub that was cancelled within 3 days and returned to them weeks ago. Another phone call to put that right and I've yet to investigate if the 6 months added to my contract for taking the super hub has been recinded. I'm at a loss where to go next but I fear WI-FI calling is a BT issue (there are numerous issues on the net regarding this) so my only solution is to cancel my broadband on the gounds of it not being fit and proper for the job. Data transfer has never been an issue it's only VOIP thats at fault. I've just tried to contact Sky but the recording stated that all lines are closed due to staff training. Sky I used to praise the service you gave and wholeheartingly recommeded you to other people but it seems even though your staff are very polite you seem to be heading in the direction of your main competitor in terms of customer satisfaction.

Sorry for the long  posting but I didn't want people to respond with suggestions as truly they have all been tried.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Just to clarify, Openreach (the national network maintainer) is not 'BT' in this context.
