I'm trying to change settings within my router and when logging in it's asking for a username and password, I've found the password on back of router, but where do I find the username please

Password is not capitals
password contains both lower and upper
example: LwerTEuiOp
NOT like this: lwerteuiop or LWERTEUIOP

Hi there
yes, turns out sky is incapable of combining special characters
so you will have to stick with lower and upper case alphabets
its ludicrous sky doesn't support this because other ISPs do
Try flushing your DNS in command (CMD)
Enter each command seperate
Ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig / renew
once done, restart your computer
log into sky router
username: admin
password: what is on back of router
if not working, keep the reset button down for 10 seconds and release
try all over again with default logins
once your in, change your SSID network to something else and your password to 16 alphabetical characters both lower and upper
restart computer again and all is good

Also, export your saved bookmarks to a flash drive or online storage or on desktop and uninstall ALL your browers
firefox, chrome, duck and go, chromium, anything, just uninstall all browsers because 9/10 they are causing conflict
Turn off any VPN and and clear out your computer using ccleaner
Once done, install any browser (duck and go) best option I feel and don't bother importing your bookmarks until you have scanned them for broken links and malicious links

Then, never save any bookmarks ever again!
Go retro, paper and pen or if you need it digitally. Scramble the link using a unique identifyer. That way, any change in the address it won't compromise your computer

There has been an issue with using an iPhone or other ios device with Safari where the hub wont accept the log in. The work round is to use a different device or Chrome if you have no other device. A Sky source has told us that should be fixed on the Sky Broadband hub but that has not been confirmed as yet.
If you have the new White Hub that comes with the Wifi Msx hub all the main settings are managed from the My Sky app the web interface is simply for information.
