Weak wifi signal and constant buffering

Playback and utube buffering, stuttering picture.

I have a so called Sky Booster ! Whether it's on or makes no difference. Also it's called a Booster but is in fact an Extender! I recently was told this by a Sky Engineer. So we all could be paying for something we are not acting getting!!

The terms are used interchangeably, and neither is particularly accurate.  'Relay' or 'repeater' would be more correct, which is why they are intended to be mid-point devices.

National regulation means the WiFi signal broadcast from a 'booster' cannot actually be more powerful than that from a wireless router: you wouldn't want to share house space with an unregulated microwave emitter.

Disaggre 100 percent.

When and item is Boosted ie make it brighter, stronger, louder.

Extend or relay is to make it available at a greater distance.

Disagree 100 percent.

When something is Boosted ie make it louder, stronger, brighter.

To extend or relay is to make something available at a greater distance
