Did you have any luck with this?

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Also interested whether this resolved your problem.  I received my watchman sensit this morning and ... red light. I can see it is on my lan, and has an IP address, and I can ping it...

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Hmmmm Just tried setting up my sensit today and no joy. Flashing green light but it won't pair. Haven't had much of a chance to mess so haven't tried turning off my 2.4ghz network which is my first guess at what might be the issue. I have SkyQ but it's a EE router. Must admit the app is AWFUL so it's not giving much of a decent first impression with me! And kingspans trust pilot reviews are shocking bad!

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Had some time to fiddle today and managed to get the dongle to pair. I landed up having to turn off wifi6 and run the router in wifi5, so not ideal. Anyway doing that I could get the dongle to pair and I managed to setup my account. BUT after a very short time I get the red disconnected led on on the dongle so I have opened a ticket with kingspan. Really shonky bit of kit this, not holding out much hope so I expect I'll be returning it next week if it's not sorted! 🤬

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

I think there is another issue with their system right now. I have raised an issue with them already -- I can see that I have the sensit online, and it started out as red but goes green (and does upload).  I have traced the connections it is making and I think their server is not always responding correctly.

For what it's worth, even though it was red after pairing for me if you leave it you may get a reading every 24 hours or so (and some periods of green). That's what's happening for me.

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Thanks for the info. I have unplugged the dongle now so I might give it another go tomorrow. I tried plugging it back in but it just starts up in pairing mode again! It just took ages messing around with the router to get the bleedy thing to connect, fed up of wasting time on it it seems pretty poor tbh 🤬

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

It always asks to be paired when you first turn it on, but if you leave it then it goes back to its previous settings.

I would just leave it on red for 24-48 hours and see if any readings come through.

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Hi all, sorry for the delay. Only managed to get the time to set the new one up on Tuesday.

So, it worked for 24 hours...initially went red but then overnight turned green.

Doing some work on my boiler yesterday and it went red again.

When repairing, the app says its paired but it just turns red again after 5 minutes. Will leave it for a few days and see what happens.

In my sky app it is showing as connected to my sky boost, so wonder whether that could be the issue

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

This is what mine is doing. It gets a reading through - goes green for 12 hrs or so then fails at the next one and goes red. I think this is 'working' for the time being and that Kingspan have some server problems

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

I have been using the testssh.sh script to check the connection to sens-101.connectsensor.com -- I can see it is more intermittent than it was before. I have raised this with their support and they say they have escalated to development team

Yes, I didn't get a reading through since 07:59 yesterday so it is overdue
