Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Hmmmm I've unplugged it and plugged it back in again. I'll give it to over the weekend and open a ticket with kingspan if it's still not working properly by Monday.

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

If I remember rightly, I started this discussion a long time ago.  In summary the product is poor at best.  I don’t need daily views, so it randomly comes in and out of connectivity with no interaction my side so not a big problem bust still very poor.  I would not recommend this product, but I have paid for it now so can’t be bothered changing it.

If you have recently bought it I suggest just go for a refund

Couldn't agree more with you!  I've had it around 6 month and it is pretty [language removed] poor. This is the longest gap I have had for a while. Working in IT infrastructure for nearly 30 years I can't really see how they can mess this product up this much!

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Hi all, haven't posted for a while. Biggest gap i have had for a while. Last reading 23rd July. Guessing others are having the same issue? Anyone spoken to them, if not I will call them tomorrow?

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

I couldn't get any readings at all when I first set this up.

My problem turned out to be custom tank settings I set were wrong - and I once I entered, it wouldn't let me correct them myself - even when doing a reset via the app. Watchman didn't respond to emails, so took a couple of telephone calls to Watchman to speak to the right person, who sorted it whilst I was on the phone.

Since then (12 weeks) I've had readings for more or less every day (at random times) with only the odd day where I don't get a reading. I also get email notifications and have a plug in montior.

I had a problem when my tank was last approching refill level, with empy tank alerts - both on app/plugin monitor, even though there was enough oil in the tank. I spoke and emailed Watchman, but haven't heard anything from them, so hopefully sorted - only time will tell.

Their support is just as bad as the product itself!

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Sorry to say I'm glad someone else is having the issue 😂 I've not opened a ticket with their useless support, I was going to try and reset it over the weekend and see if that sorts it, so far I have just turned it off and on again.

Have you spoken to them?

Cheers

Kerry

I did, a couple of times, got the details from:

https://www.kingspan.com/gb/en/campaigns/watchman-sensit-technical-support/

and scrolled down to the bottom of the page and then click Contact Us button to get the telephone number.

Hope they help and sort the issue out for you.

I have raised a ticket in the past and found them not to be very unresponsive! 🤬

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

I had a zero reading on the 5th August! 700 odd litres reported on the 4th and also on the 6th!

Loved the fact that the app said last good reading with date and time!

The predicted date to empty is now reporting 5th August! 🙄

Never received a suddon drop alarm which I thought I would have considering it dropped 700 litres in 1 day!

The plug in display was reporting corectly so again another Sensit issue!

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Well, well, well. Was about to go through the hassle of resetting and opening a ticket with them today when, as if by magic 2 readings appear! One yesterday at 2200 and one this morning at 0600, had NOTHING since 21st July! Nice of them to let customers know that they have a backend issue 🤬

Kingspan renowned for lack of truth as per Grenfell. As per all Beijing bargains when they don't work,it's your fault or just buy a new one Enron accountancy nonsense. For £150,it is a total joke.Write a Trust Pilot and just look at the reviews there.Think they write their own few decent ones. The Sensit neither connects properly to most routers nor works much longer than a year or so.Had the great "change the battery" advice, did so,pointless.Asked for a refund or replacement, won't do it.Tried to avoid CS correspondance by not replying v.much.

Offered me 20% off replacement,I think not.Would rather spend time warning others please don't bother buying it as will be fuming when it packs up in no time at all.Scandal!

Re: Watchman SENSiT Smart WiFi Tank Level Monitoring Kit

Can't really argue with any of that! After mine didn't work for about a month it's been fine since. Boiler juice do a similair product but you have to pay a monthly subscription for it which I don't want to do. I have kept my appollo smart sensor so can put that back if this sh1te stops working. I really just want a digital senor that is accurate and displays in a bit of detail, not really interest in anything cloud based!
