WIFI and internet sluggish

WIFI and internet sluggish all of a sudden. Two of us work from home have done for a while without to many issues however since area was wired for fibre internet and wifi very sluggish, Sky claim minimun 64bits but independant trest came up as 54.

If i was cynical about sky would say its to try and get us to change to fibre, bit like tv going off when they wanted to flog HD.

The most likely explanations are increased wireless interference or damage caused to the copper network during local fibre installation.  There may also be increased contention as FTTP users take advantage of their higher speed.

That's going to happen anyway because the legacy copper needs to go away (just as SD television is frankly embarrassing these days)
