WIFI 2.4

Hi,

 

I am struggling to get access to my wifi to get the 2.4 setting to come up as i have home devices that need to work off this connection

@Andrew366 How are you struggling and which sky hub do you have, all support the 2.4Ghz band but some may require you to make changes, have linked that below but does not work apart from what you see on those specific hubs if it is any use to you!

I have a hub 6 and i am trying to connect my ev charger to the hub but it needs the 2.4ghz. So can you change the wifi name to 2.4 and have another on the 5ghz

@Andrew366 NO, not allowed on that sky Max hub, so do not waste you time trying too! See the link!

 

Follow the link, disable the 5Ghz with your mysky app, connect the EV charger on the 2.4Ghz band IF it connects, when done re -enable the 5Ghz signal again, and see if the charger sticks fast on the sky Hub after that....

 

If it does not then you need to look at another method to connect the charger to the sky Hub... That may be a powerline wifi or a powerline Ethernet, there are a few ONLY with 2.4Ghz so easy to do! Part below is only 2.4Ghz wifi4 device!
