Hey all,
I am currently with Sky for TV and Broadband , I've been with Sky for around 25 years. The Broadband that is offered is not sufficent, as I and others work from home.
I'm thinking to move onto Vodafone Broadband powered by Cityfibre , Sky cannot offer me FTTP at all the highest speed I can get is 40Mbps. I'm served by cabinet 10 whereas my other neighbours are on cabinet 1 and others are on cabinets that support FTTP.
I'm wanting to keep the Sky Q side of things but don't know if Vodafone will work with Sky Q. My current connection is wired , an Ethernet cable running under the carpet going into a network switch then Ethernet cable from switch to Sky Q and TV. Does any one have experience with Sky q on Vodafone FTTP.
Any advice appreciated thank you

There will be zero issues with Sky Q on a broadband connection wired by ethernet to the router whatever the ISP in the UK.

Thank you for your reply , would it cause issues on Wi-Fi ? As I have two sky q mini boxes.

Yes, Sky Q mini boxes would only be able to connect to the 2.4Ghz wireless band AFAIK for third-party routers.

There may not be a problem because the minis will already be connected to the Q mesh but if there are issues then do a network reset on the minis and re-pair them with the main Q box.
