Very slow wifi
My WiFi is so slow, constantly unable to connect to iplayer on tv in the bedroom and I live in a bungalow, with the router in the room next door. Security cameras are constantly going offline. I'm paying for superfast broadband so it's very frustrating it's not working as it should. Tried all the suggestions on sky website & test says that the connection is good with no problems. Do they provide some sort of booster at all or is it worth upgrading to ultrafast? There is only me and my husband in the house so it's not like we have loads of people using it

Re: Very slow wifi
@soannoyed if your bunglow has solid internal walls unfortunately wifi can be challenging simply down to the laws of physics. Boosters have limited worth as they require axstrong connection to the hub to work and the boistedcsignal only has 50% of tgecspeed of tge boosters connection. In your circumstances there should be better alternatives. For your TV a setvof powerline adapters could work thesecuse your homes mains wiring toncarry the signal so avoiding the issue with solid walls. While you can buybthese with built-in wifi access points for your TV the cheaper type that uses ethernet connections would be better assuming your TV has an ethernet port.
Switching to Ultrafast diesnt solvecissues with slow WiFi in your home as you can have a fast connection to your hub but next to nonWiFi speed in the next room. Sky sell a package called Sky WiFi Max which can havecupmto 3 extenders and is far better than traditional boosters BUT the same issue applies thst the extenders need a goid connection to the hub which solid walls make difficult.
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode
