I moved house three days ago and had Sky broadband installed the same day. I have had super fast broadband for 3 years and my download speed had always been around 45mbps. I checked yesterday on my PC, which I connect to the internet with an Ethernet cable, and my speed in the new house was 35mbps - lower than I expect but not completely awful. However, I've checked today and I'm down to 5mbps.
I have tried restarting the box and tried different Ethernet cables but neither have helped. Any ideas?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Gill94 The 45 Mbps was at the old property, this speed does not follow you. Moving into the new property it looks like you have been put on a 40/10 profile by Openreach. If you have a black router can you follow the directions below.
